Does your son follow you around, wanting to be just like Daddy?

Now he can look just like daddy in his very own Prince Kilt! Available in discount plaid, solid colored cotton twill, and tartan fabric, these kilts are miniature versions of our adult kilts. Non-tartan and remnant fabric prince kilts are $45 for waist sizes between 18-30 inches and $35 for our wee princes with waists under 18 inches. Please include hip measurements and measure from the waist to the knee for length.

Princess Kilts (for our little ladies) are also available at the same rates. Please specify gender of child when ordering. For length, measure at the top of the knee for boys and under the knee for girls. However, measure middle schoolers like adults, please. For teens, order our regular kilts.

On non-remnant tartan orders, the above rates apply if an adult kilt or a second child’s kilt is purchased at the same time or if ; otherwise an additional fee will apply in order to cover the cost of the fabric. Purchased alone, a tartan child’s kilt will run between $70-$175.

Note also these wee ones are so short; their kilts often leave as much as 3/4 of the fabric as remnants. So while it doesn’t typically make sense to purchase these alone, it is a nice little gift for Junior to add to your kilt order.

Alternatively, if you have several children, depending on the lengths needed, we can cut up to 3 or 4 prince and princess kilts from the same cloth (generally the fabric comes 55″ wide), although only two would have a selvage finish unless you order double length (if need 2 yards per kilt, ordering 4 yards for 4 children). Non-selvage cuts will be finished with a fringe.

For Example: if your oldest child needed 3 yards for his kilt, and you had three princes and one wee prince, and we cut all four from the same length of cloth, the total would come out as $223.85, or $58.46 each for the three prince kilts and $48.46 for the wee prince kilt.

These are especially good deals for family reunions, highland games, Celtic festivals, children’s dance troops, or pipe bands.
