- Your privacy is important to us. Any information you provide will be kept in strict confidence and will not be sold, published, or given to any third party without either your express consent or a court order.
- Customer pays for all shipping costs. Your kilt will be shipped priority mail within 1-2 business days following payment (and completion of the kilt on a custom order).
- Customers in the greater Boise area may request a King Kilts representative hand deliver the kilt, or for buyer to pick up the kilt. Local customers may also request fittings and other advanced meetings by emailing us.
- If, due to normal use and wear, your kilt becomes damaged, or if for some reason a defect is discovered, within the first 10 days, notify us by email and we will repair the kilt for free and also pay for return shipping.
- If your kilt becomes damaged due to normal use and wear during the first 30 days, we will still repair the kilt for free, but buyer must pay all shipping costs. After thirty days, kilt repair is $14.95 plus shipping.
- Customer has a five day grace period in which to return a kilt for a free repair-this means the kilt must be in our possession within 15 days of the date you received your purchase for free shipping and within 35 days without free shipping.
- We accept returns on non-tartan orders within the first 15 days (excluding bulk orders and rare fabrics), provided the kilt is in resalable condition. We do not accept returns on tartan orders, eBay purchases, or because the kilt does not fit, so please size yourself carefully! A refund will only be issued if these conditions are met and the kilt is in our possession within 15 days of the date your received your purchase. We do not refund shipping fees, or reimburse shipping costs.
- For assistance in any potential dispute, please keep a calm, professional demeanor. All above policies save our privacy policy are contingent to this one.
- We are not responsible for the content of third party websites (such as a fabric supplier). Also be aware some tartan fabrics may not display accurately in your browser. We recommend buying a swatch from a fabric supplier before purchasing a kilt in an unfamiliar tartan.
- We accept only money orders and paypal for payment. If you are in the Boise area, we will accept cash, but this option is not in your best interests.
- A copy of these policies will be sent with your purchase along with your packing slip. Please retain these items as they contain your order details and act as your receipt and proof of purchase. If you lose your packing slip, contact us and we may be able to email you a copy. We recommend book-marking this page as we do update our policies periodically. If you retain your original packing slip, we will honor the policies contained therein. In terms of requests for returns or free service, if applicable, we will use the date on your receipt (the packing slip/invoice), which is post-dated to the expected date of arrival.
