1)  Request a quote by emailing us your measurements, requested features, and the colors and fabrics you’re interested in. We will get back to you within a week with:

2) Confirm the order. Our quotes are good for fourteen days. After that, the estimate is void and you will need to resubmit your request. By confirming your order, you are committing to purchase. It cannot be canceled except in extreme circumstances.

We use Paypal for billing, but accept money orders as well. For orders under $80, we won’t bill you in advance unless you request to pay upfront. For orders over $80, a down payment is required; usually half down or the value of the fabric wholesale. We will inform you of this in your estimate and if you prefer you can also request to pay the entire balance at this time.

3) Once your order is confirmed and any necessary down payments have been processed, we will purchase the fabric for your project. Alternatively, you may elect to purchase the fabric directly or supply previously purchased fabric (in which case our price for a standard kilt is $55.) A waiting period follows. Fabric shipped in (customer’s and tartan) will reach me in 3-7 business days. Fabric I can get locally (most non-tartans) should be in my possession within 1-2 business days.

4) Work begins on your kilt.  A single kilt typically takes me 2-3 days.

5) Once the kilt is finished, we will bill any remaining ballance through paypal, though you may also pay by money order.

6)Payment is received and processed. Alternatively, if we do not hear back from you in a reasonable time frame, we will remind you twice. If after 30 days we have not received payment, the kilt will be made public and sold at auction. If there are extenuating circumstances, please notify us. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us.

7) Your kilt ships priority mail and ideally arrives  2-3 days after we send it out and typically somewhere between 2-6 weeks after the process began–if we are not in queue. Bulk orders and and orders during a queue could take longer; the exact time frame will be included in your quote. We will strive to keep you informed of the progress on your order to the best of our ability.

If we are not in queue and your order does not require we ship in materials, we should be able to fill your order in 2-3 weeks, otherwise, please allow 4-8 weeks. For large bulk orders (such as for wedding parties) please allow 12 weeks minimum.
